Bio
Backstopped Flint Powers Catholic High School to its first state championship in 2023 before starting his junior career with the NA3HL’s Rochester Grizzlies. Kurtiak signed with the Renfrew Wolves after a successful summer camp appearance during the 2024 offseason.

- Spur of the Moment: Nick nearly chose not pursue hockey after high school, only switch tracks last minute to take on a role with the Grizzlies. Also joined the Wolves’ summer camp roster on just a few days notice from his advisors.
- On the Pond: An avid golfer, angler, and hunter (although he couldn’t bring his hunting gear across the boarder), Nick admits he’s already taken advantage of the Renfrew area’s natural beauty with trips along local lakes, as well as to Dragonfly Golf Linksand the Renfrew Golf Club
