How much do you know about what happens each day at the myFM Centre?
Renfrew’s Programs Specialist, Janyne Fraser, says the town is excited to show off every facet of the arena’s expanded space with an Open House happening this Saturday afternoon.
Fraser says will cover everything you be a part of every day, inside-and-out, including: tours of the facility every half hour from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m., drop-in programming, chances to try the various facilities, up-close-and-personal looks at the municipalities vehicles, an art display with work provided by Muriel Egan and her students, public skating, activities at the Youth Centre, and fun in-and-around Ma-te-Way Park.
Everything about the day is free up until that evening’s Junior A Renfrew Wolves game at 7:00 p.m.
The town hopes the open house will lay out the unique opportunities the myFM Centre and Renfrew as a whole have to offer.
People interested in taking a tour that afternoon should meet at the town’s recreation office. You can also keep up to date with the event through the town’s social media.
