It’s a move that should improve safety at the main intersection in the hamlet of White Lake.
Flashing beacon lights will be added to stop signs at the four-way intersection in White Lake that connects White Lake Road, Burnstown Road, Point Road and Bellamy Road.
The cost will be shared 50/50 between the township, as per the county’s policy for enhanced traffic warning devices.
The decision was approved at the last county council meeting.
