Calabogie is already a pretty happening place all year round but expect things to be a little busier this weekend as the Peaks host the 2024 Ottawa Spartan Event Weekend.
Organizers say the courses at Calabogie Peaks spare no expense to push participants to their limits.
“With steep inclines, steeper declines, and the occasional flat meadow, the Calabogie Peaks route is a combination of refreshing variety and timeless tests,” reads promotion for the race.
The Aug. 3 and 4 events include the Sprint 5k, 10k, kids, hurricane heat, and trail 10k and 21 k runs.
