Renfrew-born Julie Tower is in the running for Ms. Health and Fitness, and she needs your help.
Julie Tower, an auto worker and obstacle course racer who you may remember from last year’s dominant run through “Canada’s Ultimate Challenge” on CBC, is in the running to be the next Ms. Health and Fitness.
“Juls” is fighting to be in the Top 10 in her group, with online voting for the current round wrapping up this Thursday, May 30th, at 10:00 p.m.
If she makes it to the finals in July and wins, she will walk away with $20,000 in cash and be featured in a future edition of Muscle and Fitness Hers magazine.
Votes can be made to keep Juls in the running through the Ms. Health and Fitness website. Your first vote each day is free, with additional votes available for $1 each in support of the B+ Foundation, which provides financial assistance to families, funds childhood cancer research, and brings awareness to the fight against childhood cancer.
