It’s your last chance to pick up your tickets for the myFM $10,000 Block Party, Saturday, May 25th at the myFM Centre! Rock out to your favourite Queen songs with Scaramouche, Canada’s Premier Queen Cover Band. One lucky person in the audience will receive $10,000.00 at the party! Tickets are $45, and available online right now.
Veterans Service Officer Patricia Royle will be visiting the Renfrew Legion the week of May 20. If a Veteran requires an appointment to see the Service Officer, please call the Office at 613-432-6450.
Spring cleaning time is here. As you declutter, plan to bring your gently used items to the Renfrew Curling Club for their Annual Garage Sale on Saturday, May 25th, from 8:00 to 11:00 a.m. No electronics please. Drop off times – Friday, May 24 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Brooker’s Cider, 1632 Scotch Bush Road in Douglas, invites you to a drop-in Cider tasting this Saturday from 12:00 to 5:00 p.m. Craig the cidermaker will be pouring tastings of our natural hard cider. Pop in and enjoy some birdsong and greenery while sippin’ on some very unique hard cider!
The TSA 3rd annual Plant Sale is on Saturday May 25 from 9:00am to 1:00pm in Stewart Hall, 291 Plaunt Street South. Donations of house plants, perennials, annuals, seedlings and anything garden are welcome. Please drop off your donations on Friday, May 24 between 9:00 am and 2:00 pm or before 9am Saturday morning. Proceeds to Camp Lau-Ren.

LOCAL SPORTS: Support Our Teams!
For the month of May Renfrew Prep Basketball will be hosting a weekly Clinics at three different locations throughout the Ottawa Valley. All clinics are focused on individual technique and skills development. Each session is “pay as you go” and the drop in fee is $30/session cash or e-transfer.
