There was nothing so secret about what town staff in Renfrew were up to late last week.
The Town of Renfrew says that last Thursday’s gathering at the myFM Centre was all about learning, with town employees taking in an entire day of training on the town’s corporate and strategic plans, respect in the workplace, and a refresher on customer service.
The Town is apologizing for the inconvenience the day caused, as Town Hall, the public library, the landfill, and the myFM Centre’s reception office all saw closures while training took place.
Town staff with 5, 10, or more years of service were also honoured at the training session with certificates of recognition for their work.
