Hospice Renfrew’s Supporting Grieving Children & Teens Workshop is this Friday, May 10th, providing up-to-date information and guidance in supporting children who are grieving. Geared towards professionals, parents and community members. Head to their website for more information.
Community Living Renfrew County South’s “Diamonds are Forever” 60th Anniversary Gala takes over the Renfrew Armouries this Friday, featuring the Riley New Band. Tickets are $25. Cocktail hour starts at 6 pm, 7 pm the dance starts. Everyone welcome!
Valley Animal Rescue caps off a busy week with a Mother’s Day Bake Sale, Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at The Warehouse, 57 Raglan Street South! Proceeds will go towards taking care of animals currently in their charge as they wait for a forever home.
Experience High Tea under the Maypoles! A special event is being held by Haley United Church this Saturday, May 11th, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.! For the month of May Renfrew Prep Basketball will be hosting a weekly Clinics at three different locations throughout the Ottawa Valley. All clinics are focused on individual technique and skills development. Each session is “pay as you go” and the drop in fee is $30/session cash or e-transfer.
