Five people are facing numerous drugs and weapons charges following a late-night traffic stop in Renfrew May 5.
Around 11:30 p.m., officers from the Renfrew Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police conducted a stop on Gillan Road.
All five of the vehicle’s occupants are facing charges. The charges have not been proven in court.
Among the suspects are:
Kiely East, 35, from Arnprior, charged with:
- Fail to Comply with Probation Order, three counts
- Fail to comply with release order- other than to attend court – five counts
- Occupant of motor vehicle knowing there was firearm
- Knowledge of unauthorized possession of firearm
- Unauthorized possession of a firearm
- Possession of firearm or ammunition contrary to prohibition order
- Possession of weapon for dangerous purpose – two counts
- Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking- other drugs
- Possessions of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking- cocaine
- Carrying concealed weapon
Jessica Moore, 31, of Renfrew was charged with:
- Possession of weapon for dangerous purpose
- Unauthorized possession of a firearm
- Knowledge of unauthorized possession of firearm
- Occupant of motor vehicle knowing there was firearm
- Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking- other drugs
- Possessions of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking- cocaine
Jade Charlebois, 25, of Renfrew, was charged with:
- Possession of weapon for dangerous purpose
- Unauthorized possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm
- Knowledge of unauthorized possession of firearm
- Occupant of motor vehicle knowing there was firearm
- Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking- other drugs
- Possessions of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking- cocaine
Jacob Presley, 27, of Renfrew, was charged with:
- Possession of weapon for dangerous purpose
- Unauthorized possession of a firearm
- Knowledge of unauthorized possession of firearm
- Occupant of motor vehicle knowing there was firearm
- Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking- other drugs
- Possessions of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking- cocaine
Jason Pye, 33, from Renfrew, was charged with:
- Breach of firearms regulation- transport firearm or restricted weapon
- Possession of weapon for dangerous purpose
- Unauthorized possession of a prohibited or restricted firearm
- Knowledge of unauthorized possession of firearm
- Occupant of motor vehicle knowing there was firearm
- Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking- other drugs
- Possessions of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking- cocaine
All of the accused were held for bail.
