It was the first Renfrew Collegiate Institute Homecoming event since the pandemic and alumni and guests were clearly ready to celebrate.
More than 500 people were registered for the event, which consisted of several activities throughout the day on Saturday, April 27.
Homecoming Committee chair Lynn Clelland was pleased with how the event turned out.
The fun continued throughout the day.
The appetizer buffet courtesy of Backyard Gourmet and evening of dancing was a great way to cap off the night.
A personal highlight for Clelland, who was a member of the rifle team, involved reuniting with those teammates.
Clelland is grateful for all those who made the event possible, from organizers to volunteers to attendees.
As for what’s next, organizers will regroup later this spring.
