Hydro-Quebec says that crews are working on an isolated power outage that hit a few neighbourhoods in the Pontiac Region this morning.
The power company is blaming equipment failure for leaving around 960 customers in the dark starting at around 9:00 a.m. on Thursday.
By their count, around 547 customers in Shawville, 228 in Clarendon, and another 184 in Bristol are currently affected.
They estimate that service should return to normal by 11:30 a.m. today.
