With increasing apprehensions surrounding women’s safety and gender-based violence, Genvis, a women-founded tech company, has revealed its intention to launch a pioneering pilot program in Ontario, slated to commence in April. Central to the pilot program is the introduction of two key innovations: the personal safety app “Milli” and the purpose-built case management solution “Kudo.”
Brenda Dhillon, Country Manager for Genvis, shed light on the features and functionality of the Milli app in an interview with myFM.
This innovative venture, a joint effort involving Victim Services of Renfrew County, along with eight other Victim Service providers and directly affected individuals, seeks to harness technology to empower survivors of victimization, streamline support services, and foster enhanced cooperation among service providers and government entities. Dhillon explains the target audience for the app in an interview.
Dhillon shared their vision for Milli and future aspirations in an interview with myFM.
Established in Australia in 2017, Genvis has since expanded its global presence, extending its operations into Canada and the United States. For further details on Genvis and its initiatives, visit www.genvis.co.
