People making the St. Patrick’s Day weekend bar crawl in Renfrew can expect a fan-favourite destination to be open as usual.
The Renfrew Legion hosts its St. Patrick’s Day party this Saturday from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m., with the event free to attend for all.
The Public Relations Officer for the Branch, Debbie McDermid, says they’re putting a twist on this year’s festivities to make even more room.
The move into the main hall downstairs should give you plenty of space to dance the evening away as country/rock band Pitch Black entertains with a live show that will last the entire event.
McDermid says that the Renfrew Legion has become a popular local spot for St. Patrick’s Day, which would cram the upstairs lounge each year leading up to the COVID-19 pandemic.
She adds that it’s no worry if you work up an appetite on the dance floor; they’ve got you covered with a warm meal for a small charge.
Don’t forget to wear your green!
