If you know a person or place driving tourism in the Ottawa Valley, you can make sure they get the recognition they deserve.
The Ottawa Valley Tourist Association has launched its 2024 Tourism Awards, highlighting people, places, businesses, and events that are growing the local tourism industry and offering exceptional visitor experiences.
OVTA Co-Chair Meghan James says the group is looking forward to another successful year of nominations through the OTVA website for six categories, including:
- Tourism Champion
- Business/Organization of the Year
- Event of the Year
- Sustainability Champion
- Tourism Marketing
- New Tourism Product
OVTA Co-chair Chris Hinsperger says members can self-nominate and encourages them to do so ahead of their Annual General Meeting and Tourism Conference on April 16 at the myFM Centre in Renfrew.
The OVTA is the official destination marketing organization for the Upper Ottawa Valley, representing close to 300 attractions, events, accommodations, and more.
