Renfrew’s Business Hive is buzzing in preparation for a day of helping local entrepreneurs.
The Renfrew County Community Futures Development Corporation, the Renfrew and Area Chamber of Commerce, and the Downtown Renfrew BIA are teaming up for Business Advisory Day on March 6th.
Kelley Lemenchick, Community Development Officer with the RCCFDC, says your business can set up an appointment with the trio for personalized help with the financial side of operating in the Ottawa Valley.
We asked Lemenchick what kind of questions or concerns the Business Hive will be able to help you with when you sit down for a one-on-one chat.
The initiative is part of a growing effort between the RCCFDC, Downtown Renfrew BIA, and Renfrew and Area Chamber of Commerce that’s been working on since the three groups banded together inside the former police detachment at Town Hall.
Contact any of the three organizations ahead of March 6th to set up an appointment for your local business.
Chamber Executive Director Gail Laird and BIA Executive Director Wanda Brydges Kennell both add that this will not be the last chance for entrepreneurs to tap into their combined knowledge and resources, as plans are currently in the works for similar counselling days on various issues your business might require help with in the near future.
