An update now on the shooting investigation in Pembroke from Friday morning. Upper Ottawa Valley OPP are saying that one person, a 67-year-old from Pembroke has been charged with attempted murder with a firearm. Just before 6:30 Friday morning, police were called out to a home on McKenzie Street following a shooting. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. No names will be released to protect the identity of the victim.
