Here is a quick snapshot of what’s happening around town in the next 48 hours.
Wednesday, February 21st is Yin Yoga day at the Golden Age Activity Centre, 212 Raglan Street South in Renfrew. The GAAC and the Town of Renfrew invite Seniors to pop in from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday night. The event is $7 for members, $10 for non members. Chair yoga is also available that evening from 5:30 p.m. to 6:15 p.m.
Renfrew Minor Baseball is hosting it’s Annual General Meeting at the myFM Centre’s Community Hall, Wednesday, February 21st at 7:30 p.m.
ontrac Renfrew will be hosting it’s 5th Annual Job Fair – FREE event for Job Seekers and Employers, Thursday, February 22nd from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Renfrew Legion.
Existing and new families (of students of all ages) are invited to attend an Open House for Equinoxe French Public School, 399 Isabella St Pembroke, on Feb. 22nd from 4-6pm. Contact the school for more information. 613 732 1525

LOCAL SPORTS: Support Our Teams!
In the Minor Hockey: Under 9 Tier 3 Team 1 -Renfrew Pizzeria hits the road to face Deep River Tier 3 – 1, Wednesday night at 6:10 p.m. The squad then rolls into Arnprior’s Nick Smith Centre on Thursday to play Arnprior Tier 3 – 2. Game time is scheduled 6:00 p.m.
Under 11 House League 3 – Hultink welcomes in Muskrat 2 on the myFM Centre’s Pad 2, Thursday night at 6:00 p.m.
Don’t forget that Renfrew Minor Soccer is taking registration until March 15th. Players from all age groups should sign-up here as soon as possible to avoid late fees.
At the Jr. A level: The Renfrew Wolves travel to Kemptville to play the 73’s this Friday, starting at 7:30 p.m. Listen live on 96.1 myFM.
