A colourful addition coming to Renfrew’s Visitor Information Centre will be getting input from the community.
Town staff are looking for a group of residents interested in taking part in co-creating a mural inside the Mask Road facility as part of the town’s Community Support, Multiculturalism, and Antiracism Initiatives project.
It all starts with a workshop at the Visitor Information Centre with mural artist Jimmy Baptiste of Atelier Dopamine from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on January 31st, where a small group of residents will collect themes, drawings, poems, words, and other inspiration for the final design to be revealed in February.
There are just 20 spaces for the workshop, and registration is required, which can be done online.
