The Killaloe Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) swiftly attended to a lone motor vehicle collision involving a pickup truck on Highway 60 near Duquette Road in the Township of North Algona Wilberforce.
On January 16, Jordan Lafave, a 40-year-old resident of Moose Creek, found himself facing arrest and charges of impaired operation and exceeding the legal alcohol limit. Subsequently, Lafave was released, with a court appearance scheduled for February 14, 2024, and a 90-day suspension of his license imposed.
In response to this incident, the OPP emphasizes the serious consequences of impaired driving, including the potential for injuries and fatalities, as well as the financial repercussions. The public is strongly advised against driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
