Arnprior’s musical theatre group will recount the adventures of treasured Canadian literary character Anne Shirley in its newest production.
The show’s director, Two Rivers Musical Productions’ James Hrkach, tells us more:
Hrkach says that in advance of their late January auditions, Two Rivers will host an information night for potential actors who would like to take on a role in Anne of Green Gables: The Musical.
“It’s a way for especially people who are just on the fence and not sure, ‘Do I want to get involved in community theatre or what?’ We’re really excited about it,” said Hrkach.
There has been a great response to the announcement so far, and a number of people have expressed interest in Anne of Green Gables, and more are welcome. Hrkach says he is grateful for the ongoing community support for the musical theatre group.
The information night is set for Wednesday, Jan. 17 at 7 p.m., and auditions will be held Jan. 24 and 26 from 7-9 p.m. All sessions will take place in the drama room at Arnprior District High School.
More information is available at the Two Rivers Musical Productions website.
