The long-time home for 96.1 myFM has been sold!
As we begin our move into the myFM Centre in the new year, Iris Borghi of Calabogie’s Canthook’s Restaurant is ready to bring her menu of Swiss-German comfort food to 321 Raglan Street South.
It took just one look at the downtown Renfrew building for Borghi to know she needed to have it.
Borghi says she plans to wind down operations in Calabogie at the end of ski season as she prepares to renovate the Renfrew building into the home for her new restaurant, The Swiss Alps.
Regular customers of the Calabogie-based kitchen will be familiar with Borghi’s menu, which plays into her home roots.
Speaking of regular customers, Borghi says many of the familiar faces she serves from both Renfrew and Calabogie are thrilled to hear that she’s aiming to have everything ready at the new location by the summer.
Borghi says she’s in the process of putting together the permits to remodel the site into a full-fledged restaurant but is hoping to get construction underway ahead of the spring as 96.1 myFM starts its move to Ma-te-Way Park over the next month.
