The RVH Tree of Lights illuminates the hospital's Healing Garden on Friday, December 1st, 2023
Renfrew Victoria Hospital wrapped up last week’s huge fundraising push inside the facility’s healing garden on Friday evening.
RVH Foundation Executive Director Patti Dillabough says that’s when their Tree of Lights shined with loving tributes to special people who have touched donors lives.
The total from this Friday is still being tallied, but Dillabough tells myFM that all proceeds from this event and money raised during Giving Tuesday will help purchase vital equipment upgrades for their facility.
She adds that the lighting of the tree caps what has been yet another amazing show of support from the community this year.
Dillabough says the hospital’s board of directors and the health team have yet to commit any of the money raised towards a specific purchase but have compiled a list of needed improvements that they will prioritize funding for in the near future.
