It’s been a favourite stop for everyone, from beginners to experienced musicians and even bands like Glass Tiger and the Good Brothers, and now it’s ready to close.
Mill Music, the store that made generations of Renfrew residents fall in love with music over its 40 years of operation, will lock its doors for good on December 31st.
St. Michael and store manager Richard Collins posted to social media earlier this month with photos of what might have been the final shipment of Fender products to the Mill Music as they continue a store-wide clearance sale.
St. Michael and Collins are thanking the community for being there with them for the last 40 years and for “making our lives complete.”
Both men will still be in the music business once Mill Music closes, as they will run the Long and McQuade music store that will take over the old Mark Work Warehouse on O’Brien Road sometime in the new year.
