
With news that Renfrew will be switching to in-house by-law enforcement sometime this January, this new job posting shouldn’t shock you.
The town is looking for a by-law enforcement officer to fill one of two 35-hour-a-week roles that will report to the Director of Fire & Emergency Services, Mike Guest, who will be responsible for everything from town parking to animal control, building code enforcement, property standards, and more.
Qualified applicants will need post-secondary education in criminology, police foundations, or another related field and two years of previous experience.
