Services are not expected to be held up by ongoing construction on the second floor of Renfrew Town Hall.
Renovations at 127 Raglan Street South continue ahead of new tenants moving into the Ottawa Valley Business Hub inside the old police detachment on Monday, November 6th.
The Ottawa Valley Business Hive will be home to the Downtown Renfrew Business Improvement Area, the Renfrew and Area Chamber of Commerce, Renfrew County Community Futures Development Corporation, Enterprise Renfrew County and Economic Development, and staff from the Town of Renfrew.
Treasurer Erin Broome says her department will be moving to the right side of the main entrance, and is asking people attending Town Hall looking to pay bills to be patient as staff move into the newly renovated spaces.
Another new addition to Town Hall will be the Department of Development, Engineering, and Environment, who will be moving in from the Recreation Centre over the week of November 6th. They will be accessible by appointment only as staff get settled into their new space.
Committee meetings on days when construction is happening will be moving to online only, and can be watched live on the Town of Renfrew YouTube page.
