Ecole elementaire catholiques des Deux Rivieres on Baskin Drive in Arnprior is officially open.
A ceremony was held Thursday, and Renfrew-Nipissing-Pembroke MPP John Yakabuski was one of those in awe- in that not even six months ago (April 22nd), the ground-breaking ceremony took place.
CECCE Superintendent of Education, France Goulard, was of one mind.
The school opened for its first classes August 29th.
MPP Yakabuski was impressed about the on-time on-budget feat that not only reduces transportation times for students- but also demonstrates how Arnprior has matured as a community.
CECCE Superintendent of Education, France Goulard says a lot of students won’t be falling asleep on those former long school bus rides.
She says the spotless hallways have space for even greater numbers.
The Conseil des ecoles catholiques du Centre-Est is Canada’s largest network of French-language schools outside Quebec.
