The Renfrew Wolves let a close game slip away from them in the closing minutes for the second time in a row, losing at home to the Cornwall Colts, 6-2.
The Wolves would head into the Ma-te-Way Activity Centre on on Saturday, September 30th, looking for a rebound from their performance the night prior, when they lost a back-and-forth battle to the Rockland Nationals, 5-3.
Renfrew would show some fight in the game, battling back from a 2-0 deficit in the second period thanks to goals from William Robinson and Jayson Alegria. However, the Colts would respond with four unanswered goals for the win.
The loss puts the Wolves at 1-4-1 to start the season, as they now have until Friday, October 6th, to refocus themselves for their next game against the Ottawa Jr. Senators. Game time inside the Ma-te-Way Activity Centre on Friday is at 7:30 p.m.
