The Renfrew Fair is now just under one month away, and it’s looking to boast a packed musical line-up with plenty of Rock and Roll for the September 7th weekend.
The Renfrew Agricultural Society says the music starts on the Friday night, September 8th, with Sussex! opening with everything from the ’70s to today before handing over to Canada’s longest running Bob Seger tribute, Rock and Roll Never Forgets.
They’re also excited to welcome Canadian County Music Hall of Famer Jason McCoy to the show on Saturday, as he’s set to follow a hot new party rock band from Ottawa in the Barn Burners. If you’re interested in something local, the Agricultural Society says that you’ll get your chance to see live local acts on the Saturday afternoon.
Then on the Sunday, Eddy and Stingrays turn back the clock during their 43rd straight year of ’50s and ’60s classics.
The four-day event will also feature a truck and tractor pull, a demolition derby, horse pulls, showings for locally raised hogs, horses and ponies, steers, and beef, a demonstration from the the OPP Golden Helmets precision motorcycle riding team, and more.
