It might be the single most guilt-free treat you will enjoy all summer!
Thursday, August 10th, is Miracle Treat Day at Dairy Queens across the Ottawa Valley. Valerie Salvati, the owner of the franchise in Renfrew, says they’ll be raising money all day for CHEO, our local hospital with the Children’s Miracle Network.
She says that proceeds from every DQ Blizzard sold on Thursday will help with critical treatment, healthcare, and pediatric equipment for local kids, no matter which flavour you prefer.
Raising funds for the Children’s Miracle Network is something that Salvati is proud to be a part of, as she has been for the past 24 years.
Dairy Queen has partnered with the Children’s Miracle Network to raise over $48 million to help 12 children’s hospitals across Canada since 1984.
