While you’re enjoying the Civic Holiday, keep in mind that some stores and services in Renfrew will be making special arrangements today. Here’s what you can expect:
Some grocery and pharmacy runs might be impacted by shortened hours: Renfrew’s Metro is open 9:00am to 5:00pm, while Chris and Tanya’s No Frills opens from 8:00am to 6:00pm. Wal-Mart will run its usual hours of 7:00am to 10:00pm. The downtown Rexall will adjust its hours slightly, staying open from 9:00am to 8:00pm.
People planning a beer run on Monday will be disappointed, as both the local Beer Store and LCBO are reportedly taking the holiday off.
Public services will be impacted by the holiday as well: Renfrew’s Town Hall and Public Library are closed all day, as are the offices of both ServiceOntario and Service Canada. All four will return to normal hours on Tuesday.
