The Seniors Active Living Fair takes over the Golden Age Activity Centre this week.
Program Coordinator Jessica Posavad tells myFM the Information Fair coming up on Thursday, February 23rd is the first of it’s kind for the Renfrew area in the past few years, and will feature groups and services with vital information for Seniors.
Posavad notes that all the groups will have their own table with information and people to speak with if you’re interested in learning more. Some groups will also be doing special presentations throughout the day.
Posavad adds that there were a few groups that she was interested in bringing in who couldn’t make it, but the good news is that there might be a next time as there are hopes to make the Seniors Active Living Fair a regular occurrence.
Seniors are welcome to drop by the Golden Age Activity Centre on Raglan Street on Thursday, February 23rd from 1:00pm to 4:00pm and leave feedback on who they’d like to see at the next Seniors Active Living Fair.
Door prizes and refreshments will also be on hand through the day.
