It’s officially the warmest February 14th on record in Renfrew County and the City of Pembroke according to Environment Canada.
Temperatures reached at 5.3 degrees Celsius at 3:00pm.
This breaks a record dating back to 2002 when temperatures hit 5.2 degrees.
Residents and visitors in the Ottawa Valley and across Renfrew County could be in store for another record-breaking day on Wednesday as Environment Canada calls for a high of 8, which would pass the previous record of 7.8 degrees set in 1984.
