After a few years of being closed, the restaurant at the Days Inn in Renfrew is almost ready to serve.
Michael Joanis, owner of the incoming AlphaCater Bar and Grill tells myFM he’s been floored by the friendly reception he’s received since moving into town.
Joanis says his menu will feature some twists on finer-dining classics, including things like sous-vide steak with a butter and cilantro glaze and slow-roasted chicken, as well as other restaurant favorites.
Joanis says they’re in the hiring process, and are hoping to kick off with a soft launch around Valentine’s Day featuring a reservation-only steak dinner with mashed potatoes.
Joanis says to keep an eye on the AlphaCater Bar and Grill facebook page for more details on the soft launch and menu, as well as the chance to order catering and take out.
