Environment Canada’s Winter Storm warning continues to threaten the Ottawa Valley. Weather experts say that we could see up to 25 cm of snow on the ground before it tapers off late Friday. Snow falling across the area will intensify this evening and continue into Friday afternoon. Some areas may mix with rain briefly this evening, with freezing rain also possible. Officials suggest postponing non-essential travel until conditions improve. Rapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult in some locations. Visibility will be suddenly reduced to near zero at times in blowing snow. Stay with us for the latest updates.
