Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement calling for up to 25 centimeters of snow.
Heavy snow is expected to start Thursday night and continue into Friday before snow gradually tapers to flurries Friday night.
Environment Canada says total snowfall amounts of 15 to 25 cm are expected by Saturday morning.
Consider postponing non-essential travel as conditions may become hazardous due to heavy snow and reduced visibility.
Special weather statement in effect for:
- Barry’s Bay – Killaloe
- Petawawa – Pembroke – Cobden
- Renfrew – Arnprior – Calabogie
