
Deborah Farr is running to be the next Mayor of North-Algona-Wilberforce. Farr wants residents to have options when it comes to electing those who represent the municipality.
Farr previously served as Mayor in North-Algona-Wilberforce from 2014 to 2018. Farr says it’s important to listen to the voices and concerns of local residents and keep an open line of communication.
Farr says one of the biggest concern she’s heard from residents is about tax increases during the COVID-19 pandemic.
In terms of controversy and investigations that were launched in her time as Mayor, Farr says it was a perfect storm she came into.
Farr is running against current Mayor James Brose in the October 24th municipal election.
