The Ma-Te-Way Expansion project unveiled a smaller part of it’s overall scope last week.
Renfrew’s Recreation Facilities Co-Ordinator Jordan Wall tells myFM the new tennis courts at Ma-Te-Way Park are now open to all who pick up a court membership.
However, Wall says the new hardcourt surface at the MAC can be used for more than just tennis.
The key fob that comes alongside a court membership will open the gates to the courts and turn the lights on for your late night volleying. Wall explains that the choice to forego automatic timers for the court’s lighting system was about saving energy when not in use.
The courts are expected to stay open daily from 7:00 AM until midnight through to mid-October, depending on the weather.
