The Town of Renfrew is letting drivers know to expect delays along O’Brien Road off of Highway 17.
Town staff say Froats Street at O’Brien Road, by the Tim Hortons and No Frills, will be closed starting on Monday, July 4th.
O’Brien Road from Gillan Road to Mask Road will also have lane reductions with flagging operations.
The ministry of transportation is contributing $3-million in funding for this project.
The project will include storm sewer installation, water main work, road reconstruction, realigning the Algonquin Trail, a new sidewalk on part of the south side of O’Brien Road and a new Park “n” Ride off Mask Road.
Town Council has awarded BEI the contract for the job that is expected to be completed by the end of the year.
Any questions and concerns related to the project should be directed to project manager Connor Jamieson at: 613-432-8166 or by email at: cjamieson@renfrew.ca
