The delicious fragrance of traditional spices welcome diners to the Indian Curry Pot, new to the Renfrew area.
Nima and Kiranraj “K.K.” Kamath spoke to myFM just before a busy opening weekend on Friday. Kiranraj says their starting menu offers staple flavours like butter chicken and vindaloo pork ribs that will offer their customers a tantalizing taste of his roots in coastal India.
Kamath’s background is in I.T., but he is no stranger to cooking from scratch for many people.
“Frozen” is not a thing you’ll find at the Indian Curry Pot, as Nima tells myFM that fresh spices and ingredients are key for their menu.
