The Federal Government is dolling out 390 thousand dollars in Go Green Funding to not-for-profits in the Outaouais Region.
MP for the Pontiac, Sophie Chatel made the announcement last Thursday in Fort-Coulonge.
The money is in the from of a non-repayable contribution of $390,000 so that they can reach their full potential by adopting environmentally responsible practices and clean technologies.
Chatel says they are already on the pathway to greener practise and the new support from Canada Economic Development will allow them to continue along the road to sustainable development.
Bryson Lake Lodge is being held up as an example of what can be accomplished.
Moneys will be administered through SADC Pontiac, an organization financially supported by Canada Economic Development.
