On Wednesday (Today) it was announced that the mask mandate is becoming a thing of the past. Ontario’s Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Kieran Moore announced that as of March 21st you won’t need to wear masks in most settings.
He says this is possible thanks to the great work of the people of Ontario. But there will still be a few places where masks will still need to be worn.
Dr. Moore also announced changes to isolation rules.
As for close contacts, isolation is no longer required but you must self monitor for 10 days and wear a mask as much as possible.
