The Catholic Women’s League in Arnprior is having a Craft and Bake Sale this Saturday.
CWL President Nancy Black says it’s among the seasonal activities the chapter is involved with.
The group recently completed their task of collecting personal care items for distribution through the Food Bank, which are stuffed in cloth shoe bags generously made by the Quilters’ Guild.
Eighty bags were filled December 5th, and the shopping cart of extra goodies also went to the Arnprior Food Bank for a planned December 15th distribution.
Black believes public appetite for craft and bake sales is again on the rise after a COVID hiatus.
The CWL Craft and Bake Sale is on from 10AM to 4PM.
The Arnprior Chapter of the CWL supports many good causes with its work.
Besides its local activities there are overseas initiatives.
CWL President Nancy Black says the event will respect social distancing and should provide a safe browsing and shopping opportunity.
