Magellan Aerospace in Haley Station is hiring.
A job fair is coming up at the Days Inn & Conference Centre in Renfrew on Wednesday (November 17th, 2021) from 9:00am to 1:00pm and 3:00pm to 6:00pm.
Proof of vaccination is required when entering the building.
The job posting says on the spot interviews will be available for production workers with the pay ranging between $21.72 and $24.80 an hour.
Magellan Aerospace is also looking for certified millwrights, a job that pays $32.68 an hour.
The local company claims to offer a comprehensive, company-paid benefits package including major medical, dental and pension plan.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED certificate, be able to work 8-10 hour rotating day or afternoon shifts and one to two years of manufacturing experience is considered an asset.
Magellan Aerospace designs, engineers and manufactures aeroengine and aerostructure assemblies and components for aerospace markets, advanced products for military and space markets, industrial power generation, and specialty products.
