With kids forming the largest unvaccinated demographic, the community of Arnprior will reprise the drive-by format for a Santa Claus Parade.
The event returns to the Nick Smith Centre on Saturday, December 4th from 2 to 4PM.
Event goers will enjoy Christmas music, mascots, floats from different community groups and businesses and most importantly end with a visit with Santa.
Attendees are asked to bring a non-perishable food donation to support the Arnprior Food Bank.
Last year, a full truck and trailer load of food was gathered along with over $1000 in cash donations.
Interested groups looking to setup a float or participate in the parade festivities can contact the Arnprior Legion at br174office@gmail.com.
Volunteers can also reach out to the Legion or to the Director of Recreation, Graeme Ivory, at givory@arnprior.ca.
Last year a contingent of more than 40 volunteers helped make the Santa Claus parade a resounding success.
The 2020 event saw over 400 cars pass through the Nick Smith Centre grounds for a visit with Santa.
Don’t forget to bring your letter to Santa!
