Lake Dore Road (County Road 30) heading into Golden Lake/googlemaps
Speeding concerns are being raised by residents who live on Lake Dore Road (County Road 30) in Golden Lake.
A petition signed from dozens of local residents has been sent to the County of Renfrew operations committee for review.
The local residents say most drivers completely ignore the speed limit and are travelling between 80 and 100 km/hour when the speed limit drops down to 50 km/hour.
A request has been made to the county to place a speed registering sign at the 50 km/hour speeding sign.
The local residents have also asked for increased enforcement from the OPP in the area.
