A HUGE step forward for Renfrew on Thursday. At 10am, Mayor Don Eady and council will be taking part of a groundbreaking ceremony for the MA-TE-WAY Activity Centre Expansion Project. You’ll recall that municipal council recently awarded the contract for the project. The federal government is contributing $6.4 million, the province is dishing out $5.3 million on their end, and the town of Renfrew is also investing $4.2 million towards the project.
