A local business has a collection of soy candles and wax melts with scents from across the Ottawa Valley.
Owner and founder of Pure Canadian Candle Company (Co.), Krista Cliche, says she hand pours the wax candles and melts which are toxin free and safe to use around children and pets.
Cliche says she’s willing to work with businesses who are looking to create their own candles or “scents”.
Pure Canadian Candle Co. offers 112 unique scents.
Cliche says she quickly outgrew her current location and wanted to move to a larger spot that allows her to bring in more products and businesses into the store.
The Pure Canadian Candle Co. is moving to 183 Pembroke Street West, at the corner of Main Street and Alexander Street in downtown Pembroke.
Cliche says once she’s in her new location she will have the space to bring in craft and vendor shows on Saturdays and hopes to get Pembroke’s little market on main going in August or September depending on COVID-19 restrictions.
