The Renfrew County and District Health Unit (RCDHU) is confirming that an individual at
Leaps & Bounds Children’s Centre in Arnprior on 225 Baskin Drive, has a positive for COVID-19.
All children and staff who have been deemed to be a close contact of the positive case, have been given direction to go home immediately to self-isolate and arrange for testing. The daycare remains open to all other clients and staff.
RCDHU is working closely with Leaps & Bounds Children’s Centre to ensure necessary measures continue to be in place to protect all staff, children and the public.
RCDHU staff is actively investigating the case and all high risk contacts will receive a standard text message from a Public Health Nurse (PHN) at RCDHU or a virtual assistant notifying them that they may have recently been exposed to COVID-19.
