All 10-long-term care homes in Renfrew County and District have received their first doses of the COVID-19 vaccine. Director of Long-term care with the County of Renfrew, Shelley Sheedy, says despite current supply issues, they don’t expect there to be any issues getting residents their second shot .
All in over 900 residents across Renfrew County and District have received their first vaccine doses. Both Miramichi Lodge in Pembroke and Bonnechere Manor in Renfrew had over 95% of residents and caretakers consent to get vaccinated.
