Nobody’s going to be offended if you opt to get this year’s Flu Shot at your favourite pharmacy.
Christine Brennan, Manager of Clinical Services with the Renfrew County and District Health Unit, says this year Ontario has included drug stores in the mix of providers to a greater degree than before.
Brennan says some physicians have already received the vaccine, and more is likely on the way.
The Clinical Services Manager say that because of COVID, traditional Flu Shot Clinics will be structured differently this year.
The RCDHU says its clinics will be appointment driven, rather than walk-in.
Brennan expects the vaccine will be available to Health Units in November.
